Kaitlyn’s Reflection on our Pledge Drive

By Kaitlyn On May 14, 2013 · In Featured
Looking back on the last couple of days I can’t help but rejoice at all that God has done! He truly showed me that it is not my voice, not my turn-a-phrases, not my efforts that make Refuge Radio an impactful station. God has truly shown me the meaning of grace this week; He is the one who provides for Refuge. I could go on and show you more evidence of that, but instead, I invite you to join with us and watch as we trust God, ask God and let Him do what He does best. Provide!

When we reflect on the significance of names, the words of Shakespeare often come to mind, “a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” You can gather from this quote that a name is often thought of as a descriptor word. It helps us understand who is being mentioned, but its significance doesn’t go much further than that.
