Looking back on the last couple of days I can’t help but rejoice at all that God has done! He truly showed me that it is not my voice, not my turn-a-phrases, not my efforts that make Refuge Radio an impactful station. God has truly shown me the meaning of grace this week; He is the one who provides for Refuge.

We have felt so blessed by you and your support, and we are so grateful that God not only provided, but provided abundantly! It is my sincere hope that you read this account of our pledge drive and find encouragement that God is all sovereign. He sees our every need, even before we realize it. He loves us to such great depths that He sent His only son for us. He paid the ultimate cost so that we could experience His love. Yet He is such a mighty God that He sees even our smallest needs and takes care of us.

Our Spring Pledge Drive is just around the corner: May 7th, 8th and 9th. With this on our hearts we can’t help but reflect on all of the really good things that have happened at Refuge Radio in the last year. God’s provision and plan for this Ministry continues to amaze! Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10 NKJV).
God is a God of abundance, of overflowing. He gives us all that we need, and much more. When we open our hearts to allow God to work through us, using our hands, our words and our resources; He accomplishes far more (that’s the abundant part) than any plan or scheme of man. I could go on and show you more evidence of that, but instead, I invite you to join with us and watch as we trust God, ask God and let Him do what He does best. Provide!

In today’s culture, a name is just a name. It is something you see on your report card, your driver’s license, or work papers. When we reflect on the significance of names, the words of Shakespeare often come to mind, “a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” You can gather from this quote that a name is often thought of as a descriptor word. It helps us understand who is being mentioned, but its significance doesn’t go much further than that.

It’s beginning to be that time of year when W-2’s are filed and tax returns are adjusted. The same is true of Refuge.
Our Fall Pledge Drive is under way! We are super excited about new listeners and the growth of our support team during this last year. However, our accountant tells us that we still need to raise about $50,000 in pledges and support gifts to get Refuge Radio fully caught up and in a position to stay financially healthy into the next year. If you have been giving to Refuge Radio, we are so grateful to you; your support is a constant source of light and truth for others through the music and ministry here that reaches so many. If you have never given before, we’re asking if you would consider being part of the support team that makes it possible for Refuge Radio to exist. Without the support of listeners, Refuge Radio could not be here at all. This year we have been struggling through a very difficult season, but we are well on our way to financial health. We [...]

Suffering is something we all experience in this life time, and it is something that we all deal with differently. When we are going through trials, life can feel like a desert. It can seem endless and like there is no help for miles. Of one thing I am convinced, however, when we are in these desert times our attention is not distracted by the fleeting temptations of this world and our God uses this time to pursue us.
